Dodging

Hi ya folks…yes. long time no post. yes. I know. I can’t for the life of me figure out what I’ve been doing or where I’ve been but I know I’ve been busy. Work has been crazy busy which is good. Made a fat 60% on yesterdays check which will now allow for me to begin my Christmas shopping tonight. have been out to dinner with the girls several times, to the Nutcracker Ballet Sunday which was delightful. Mgirl and I felt so cultured that we had to go have bloody mary’s at the bar! HA! So maybe that’s where I’ve been. When I’ve been home, I’m exhausted, or doing laundry or getting sucked into the world of the Twilight saga…literaly sucked in.

Mostly though, I am keeping this manic schedule up to dodge the depression that is nipping at my heels. Some days it almost swollows me whole. It comes upon me at the craziest times. driving. shampooing a client. walking to my car. wherever. So I’m dodging. to the left to the right. fast fast fast and hopefully it will all be over and we can wake up to a fresh new start that is January.

My goal this week is to get the shopping done, get the Christmas cards out, get some sort of organization for the trip to Arkansas on Saturday, and to get caught up on your posts. I’m woefully behind on your worlds.

May this week be full of calm and serenity for you as we head into next week. happy day.

It’s always the car for me. I never really drive and then I’m up north and it’s Christmas and it’s all so hard and I’m sobbing with the radio turned up to 11.

Call me any time. Or don’t. I’ll be thinking of you any way. You can’t stop me. 🙂

If I knew what I was doing to not have it… I would share. but I just am vacant of my mind lately.
    Its the most amazing thing.
Gert, Jane… just kina in I Robot mode.
I don’t have the whole holidays depression anyway ever.
I just don’t care about ho ho ho.
I don’t want it to tear you apart though.
I will be free this weekend.
We need to do a drive about and do some shopping and drinking and just giggle some.

Cosmic dodgeball. We’ve all played it from time to time, especially at this time of the year. The thing to remember is that you are not alone, you are never alone, and you’ll never be alone until you wish to be alone and how many times can I use the world alone in a run-on sentence?

Love to you, darlin’ from the Great White Empty of ND.

I know. I know. It just kind of is what it is. Happened again today, going and coming. Pfffffffft. Whatever. the thing is, I love the holidays. I LOVE decorating and the spirit of giving and getting to see friends. I love it all. Mostly I love having my home warm and inviting and decorated and…..fffffttttt.

So I know it’s the cosmic dodgeball. I really don’t think I need to check into the betty. I just want this fucking month to be over.

    Thanks you guys. You rock.
Gert, no can do on the drive and giggle. I leave Saturday after work. Will come back Christmas afternoon/early evening so maybe then.

    xoxo. love you all.
